    • When analysing flight data, root phase may not be detected after flight data file slicing. [Fixed]

    • DLK datalink file can be converted to Honeywell DLU file.

Improvements

  • Analysis
    • if a Take Off is defined in a flight profile, analysed files with this flight profile have their start date time stamped with Take Off time. Otherwise, their start date is time stamped with beginning of the file time.
    • Take Off and Landing are now used to determine the airport of departure and arrival to avoid inconsistent longitude and latitude values.
  • Parameter Studio
    • In Computed tab, parameter selection list window has been enhanced so that very long parameter names can be completely displayed.
    • In all tabs, Discrete formula window and Matrix formula window have been enhanced so that a long text can be completely displayed.
    • when doing Save As action on a selected parameter, the new parameter name is pre-populated with the selected parameter name.
  • GUI
    • A warning message is displayed before closing all PGS dialogs when modifications have not been saved.

    • Heliwise QAR is not available from the equipment list and cannot be selected as maintenance recorder in the Details windows of the aircraft. [Fixed]

    • Duration of events based on parameters having frequency < 1 is correctly detected but not correctly displayed in the event report. [Fixed]
  • Datalink
    • In the Datalink Viewer, the bottom view disappears if you press ‘Esc’ in the bottom view. [Fixed]
  •  Database
    • When a parameter is hidden it is no longer possible to select it as a Computed Parameter input. [Fixed]
  •  GUI
    • When graphic mode is selected to <line+point> or <point only> and the windows position is reset (by user or changing of PGS version), the state of the toolbar icon is reset but not the graphic mode. [Fixed]
  • 3D Replay
    • In 3D view, when loading an instrument panel, Error #38 may occur because of a lack of DirectX texture memory. [Fixed]
    • In Panel editor, toolbar buttons states are not refreshed. They appear disabled (grayed) whereas they are enabled. [Fixed]
    • While running on Windows 10, closing Panel editor when at least one instrument is loaded makes PGS crash. [Fixed]

    • When saving an Analysis Report, the FROM ID and TO ID fields of an XFF file may not be recorded. [Fixed]
  • Audio player
    • If there is no audio device in the computer, PGS crashes when opening the Audio Player. [Fixed]
    • If the audio device of the computer is disabled in Windows settings, PGS crashes when opening the Audio Player. [Fixed]
    • PGS may crash after closing the Audio Player dialog while audio files are still being loaded. [Fixed]
  • Database
    • In the Database Report, for some formulas the reported definition is partial. [Fixed]
    • In Parameter Studio, a decimal value written with a coma instead of a dot will be stored in the database as an integer (all digits after the coma will be ignored). [Fixed]
  • Image player
    • The duration of an IMR file is not correctly calculated when timestamps loop back. [Fixed]
  • GUI
    • For checkboxes inside a grid, when changing checkbox state using keyboard’s spacebar, the new state is not applied and has no effect. [Fixed]
    • Several same recorders may be listed in the Crash Recorder -> Select Flight Data Recorder dialog. [Fixed]
    • In Database Manager dialog, sorting the grid will result in selecting a database that is not the relevant one. [Fixed]
    • In Database menu, there is a translation error in French language (PGS Vision only), « Editer la Database » shall be replaced by « Editer les propriétés ». [Fixed]
    • In Download dialog when the Honeywell 980-4750-XXX is selected, there is a text error in French language, « Annuler » button shall be renamed « Décharger ». [Fixed]
    • While playing CVR data synchronized with FDR data, the play bar on flight parameters view continues to move although there is no FDR data matching CVR data timestamp. [Fixed]

    • The results of an event-based measurement are stored although the event itself is rejected in the Analysis Report. [Fixed]
  • 3D Replay
    • While importing a satellite map, PGS may crash if the user clicks on another tab of the dialog. [Fixed]
    • Clearing screen while a flight with a 3D Replay panel is playing may make PGS to crash. [Fixed]

      • When downloading data from the recorder, a message “Connection lost” may appear although the download processing continues.

      • Processing of image data from IP Camera outputs IMR file where h264 IDR images may not be sliced properly.
      • Processing of image data from IP Camera may take a lot of time and end with a “out of memory” message.
  •  Analysis
    • Archive of Analysis window cannot be opened because of a bad Start Time value in flight files.
    • In Flight window, user shouldn’t be able to fill manually Departure and Arrival but only select an existing airport/heliport.
    • In Flight window, if start date and time values are wrong, the whole grid might be black.
    • In extended flight profiles, when “begin of file” is used in an alternate list of conditions, the analysis engine behaviour may not be correct.
  • Audio player
    • When playing audio data, closing Audio player window will make PGS not responding.
    • When loading multiple WAV files using open file dialog, all files may not be loaded.
  • Image player
    • h264 images of an IMR file may not be properly decoded.
  •  GUI
    • When displaying flight data, editing a parameter from the contextual menu of the graphic scale doesn’t select the relevant parameter in Parameter Studio.
    • When displaying flight data with slider feature enabled and moving the slider over a detached window, stickers of PGS main window appears instead of the one of the detached window.
    • When displaying flight data, scales of detached graphic views cannot be moved or resized.
    • When displaying CURTISS-WRIGHT FORTRESS accelerometer’s flight data from a XFF file larger than 4GB, zooming in may result in displaying wrong values.
  • Fleet Management
    • In Flights window, Flights Start date can be incorrectly displayed due to Windows regional settings.
    • In Flights window, Departure and Arrival columns can be filled with free text.
  • 3D Replay
    • In Panel editor, if an instrument located in a sub-folder is added to a panel, it is not loaded.
    • In Panel editor, if instruments are multiselected:
      • X, Y, width and height values are not the one of the multi selection rectangle in both toolbar and properties dialog.
      • changing X, Y, width or height value does not result in the expected behaviour.
    • In Instrument editor, if instrument models are multiselected:
      • X, Y, width and height values are not the one of the multi selection rectangle in both toolbar and properties dialog.

    • When replaying a panel, overall instruments position in tabs (attached or detached) may not match position defined in the PANEL file.
  •  Datalink
    • In datalink messages, invalid position (latitude and longitude) is processed as a value instead of being flagged as invalid.
  •  Synchronization
    • Synchronizing data files with a different timeline may take a lot of processing time and result may not be consistent.
    • When replaying image data and flight data, image frame rate is not correct.
  • Others
    • When adding/editing a place in Airport/Heliport editor, its identifier is not saved properly.

Known Issues

  • Analysis
    • The results of an event-based measurement are stored although the event itself is rejected in the Analysis Report.
  • Synchronization
    • Synchronization timestamps and power up counters used for synchronization of different data sources may not be always increasing as PGS expects. This causes a bad synchronization behaviour.
  • GUI
    • When displaying flight data, after several zoom-in, curves may disappear or may be displayed twice.

    • CURTISS-WRIGHT FORTRESS flight recorder:
      • Downloading and processing of 25 hours CVR audio data has been added.

      • Processing of image from IP camera has been added.

Improvements

  • Audio player
    • RF64 WAV file format support has been added to handle audio files bigger than 4GB.

Fixed Issues

  • Analysis
    • When using an extended flight profile, measurements defined with a measurement range set as Flight Event are not working.

    • When playing WAV file with a size higher than 2GB, no sound can be heard.

    • A local copy of a .xff file is created when it is opened from a network path, a mapped network drive, a disc drive or a removable drive to avoid poor performances.
    • To avoid to poor performances, when resizing flight data view (main PGS view) if refresh time is higher than 500ms, then real time refresh is disabled until resizing is completed.

Fixed Issues

  • GUI
    • When hovering over the “Exit” entry in the “Aircraft” menu of the main windows, “Exit tracer” is indicated.
    • When leaving the Tracer by the menu of the Tracer window, PGS closes.
    • When the AFC editor is opened in read only, the last line is not sorted.
    • When replaying audio data in conjunction with flight data, zoom behaviour may not be correct.
    • When zooming-in in the audio, the arrows of the horizontal scrollbar do not work anymore at a given zoom level.
    • When scrolling horizontally in the Audio Player, an infinite loop may occur.
    • When displaying flight data, switching the slider mode may make markers labels disappear.
    • In Report dialog (Fleet Management -> Flights dialog -> Report button), hidden columns in the grid are not managed properly

    • When a filter is used, and a column is sorted, selected parameters are not the ones expected.
    • When previously set in Parameter Studio dialog, the sort by “Short Name” of parameters is not working properly.
  • AFC
    • If a step value is equal to 0 in an “Increment” or “Angle Increment” AFC test condition, an infinite loop occurs.
    • In the cells of an AFC report PDF file, the text is not displayed if it is too long compared to the cell size.

    • When loading a project with flight data, audio data and zooms, an infinite loop may occur.
    • When loading a project, the size of the Audio Player window is not restored.
    • When loading a project, manual synchronization markers within the project file may conflict with synchronisation information “.si” files.

    • Protected version of PGS crashes as soon as 3D Replay view opens.
    • Protected version of PGS does not run at all since Windows 10 build 1803.
